Was messing around on craigslist and found the ad below. Part of me wants to buy it, and make my parents hate me more when I ask to store it at their house where i slowly fix it. The other part of me wants to buy it with a group of oppos that can store it in the burgh and try to make a Lemons car. The third part of me thinks i should stop drinking, but i ignore that part.

A bit pricy for a Lemons car, and the necessary repairs needed(straightening out the front end, fixing radiator supports, probably front suspensions stuffs too) would make staying in budget difficult.

An e30 will earn you some laps in any condition and I think there are better options for Lemons out there. I suggest finding the most awesome/never meant to be raced car in existence to piece back together!

Sadly I am not, I live in Florida and already have a Lemons car of my own, but I absolutely love the thought of running a Justy and hope a team does it soon.

Not bad, considering you don't exactly need the front clip or a full exhaust system, and you can sell off the extra set of wheels.

Man, what is is with the northeast and red-lined black grilles? I've seen a couple of those in the Regular Car Reviews anyway.

Cheapo suspension, but the rest of the extras sound perfect for LeMonsing. Extra wheels are something you'd want to order anyway in case one gets fubar'd during a race.

That being said, the LeMons judges tend not to like E30s unless you theme the crap out of them. If you're looking to pick up a multi-series car (Chump or even BMWCCA/NASA/SCCA/etc.) and/or you're going to LeMons more for fun than IOE DOMINATION! , this looks perfect to me.

That's on the high end for a LeMons candidate, but don't forget that you can sell items out of the car (full interior in good shape = GOLDMINE!) to bring the "cost" down. I'd take a look at it just to see.
